Former Celtic God of Exploration, Cian was Dian Cécht's son and Lugh's father.
Cian was as stubborn as he was a free mind. Nobody could prevent him from setting foot anywhere he wanted to and he was the first of the Tuatha Dé Danann to scout both Ireland and Britannia.

He used to own a magical cow who provided an infinite amount of the finest milk. This made Balor envious and the fomorian king tasked his sons to steal the animal. However, the robbery did not turn out as expected and Cian ended up killed by Balor's sons.

His death started a cycle of revenges which eventually led to the implication of Balor in the Second Battle of Mag Tuired and the losses of Danu, Lir and Nuada.
